Meet The Authors
Diane Bauer |
Diane Bauer taught upper elementary for 17 years and dedicated 20 years to teaching at the university level. In writing The Big Yellow Book, she drew from her experiences as a student teacher supervisor, adjunct faculty in The University of Texas at San Antonio's College of Education and Human Development teaching pre-service courses emphasizing language arts and science, and the exam preparation assistance she provided students during large group reviews and small study sessions.

Katherine Cezeaux |
Katherine Cezeaux has been in the field of education for over 20 years. She has taught math and science for grades Pre-K through 12, and has also worked as a math content specialist, developing K-12 mathematics curricula and assessments for EdTech and publishing companies. She is currently a Grade 6 math teacher.

Janet Scott |
Janet Scott dedicated 38 years to the field of education. She taught elementary grades for eight years, supervised student teachers and taught social studies methods courses for twelve years, and served as the Director of Student Teaching at The University of Texas at San Antonio for 18 years.
